History

The following notes on the history of the Schola are designed to help scholars find their way through the labyrinth that, as is often the case with initiatory institutions, rose up around the S.P.H.C.I. after the death of Kremmerz. These brief historical references also aim to explain how a single line and a single Idea link the Schola founded by Master Kremmerz with its sole, orthodox and authentic expression in present-day society.
These notes are important for, as Kremmerz himself stated, initiation is conferred by people and not by invisible and mysterious beings. This means that knowing – even if only to a limited extent – about the people who made the history of the Schola can give one a better understanding of how the initiatory tradition has come all the way down to us along a continuous, regular and orthodox route.
